About the Artwork

Bronze on a circular oxidised Sculpture on a brass base, By Philip Hearsey, the Brilliant and innovative Minimalist Sculptor, who once again has come up with another visual delight.

Artist Comment

Although there is no direct figurative element concealed, it nevertheless exists in some form, depending on the interpretation and experiences of the viewer. It can bring varying emotions into daily life, being a reminder of something special, events and experiences. In this way the sculpture belongs to that person alone and becomes part of their life. Simple things can bring great pleasure. Cast in solid bronze, visible on the edges, and standing on an oxidized brass base. The absence of sides and corners on a circular base allow the sculpture to be turned to any position while still facing forwards One of the pleasures of small, domestically-scaled sculptures is that they can easily be moved around, to accompany other treasured objects and refreshing both their surroundings and the perception of the collector.

  • The ArtParkS Guarantee

All the sculptures on the website are described by the artists themselves, stating the material they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors, they have a guarantee of 10 years, subject to the effects of weathering, which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them regular cleaning and maintenance.

For instance, bronze, and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze, will acquire a green patina, usually rather sought after. All can attract moss, lichen, and a greenish pollen, especially under trees, which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing-up liquid.

Iron and steel will oxidise (rust), and this falls outside our guarantee.

Organic material like wood and bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited. You should discuss any guarantee directly with the artist, as this too falls outside our guarantee.

  • How Does ArtParkS Ensure Your Protection?

From the moment you place an order and pay ArtParkS, you are protected because half of the payment is immediately used to pay the artist’s deposit, while the other half is retained until the sculpture is delivered safely.

Insurance in transit should be arranged with the artist prior to ordering.

  • Why Choose ArtParkS for Your Purchase?
