A Coloured Blue Breaking Ocean Roler Breaking Wave sculpture. Abstract Glass Waves For Indoor Display n Your Home Or Office.By the Versatile British Sculptor Daniel Rollitt who writes…..
“Based upon observations of oceanic waves. Thinking how other cultures interpret the world and share this using myths, Daniel`s aim was to anthropomorphize waves in his own way by ascribing figurative forms to waves. He was also inspired by a documentary about Kami, elemental spirits in Shinto religion.
After exploring various wave forms, he focused on the motion involved both above and below the sea`s surface. By exploring positive and negative space he incorporated the figures into the material of water itself suggesting it is comprised of them, similar to Frederick Hart’s work Order Out Of Chaos on the Western Facade of the National Cathedral in Washington DC.
Different perspectives as well as the depth of glass reveals and conceals the spirits questioning their existence. The figures become caught up in the swirling motion losing all control.

More about Daniel Rollitt- The ArtParkS Guarantee
All the sculptures on the website are described by the artists themselves, stating the material they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors, they have a guarantee of 10 years, subject to the effects of weathering, which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them regular cleaning and maintenance.
For instance, bronze, and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze, will acquire a green patina, usually rather sought after. All can attract moss, lichen, and a greenish pollen, especially under trees, which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing-up liquid.
Iron and steel will oxidise (rust), and this falls outside our guarantee.
Organic material like wood and bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited. You should discuss any guarantee directly with the artist, as this too falls outside our guarantee.
