About the Artwork

Abstract Drift Wood Bird Carving statue, Carved Wood Contemporary Heron Head sculpture for Sale for Indoors by the American Sculptor Felix Velez.
Felix Velez writes… “This sculpture is made directly from the sculptors hands. Manzanita burl is found in California in the Mediterranean climate areas and colder mountainous regions, ranging from ground-hugging coastal and mountain species, to small trees up to 20 feet”.
This wood carving has an inlay of crushed stone turquoise green rock minerals. Felix combines the natural shape of the wood, while carving the bird image into the Manzanita wood. Is a beautiful original wood sculpture, not a copy. Preserving and displaying the natural grains and natural shape of the wood. Is very important to keep the balance between bird and the wood.

You do not have to wait, it is in his studio in Colorado. READY TO BE SHIPPED NOW, to your home or business. From the wood collection edition to your home. Creating a handmade wooden sculpture to be remember. This sculpture comes with Certificate of Authenticity.

  • The ArtParkS Guarantee

All the sculptures on the website are described by the artists themselves, stating the material they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors, they have a guarantee of 10 years, subject to the effects of weathering, which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them regular cleaning and maintenance.

For instance, bronze, and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze, will acquire a green patina, usually rather sought after. All can attract moss, lichen, and a greenish pollen, especially under trees, which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing-up liquid.

Iron and steel will oxidise (rust), and this falls outside our guarantee.

Organic material like wood and bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited. You should discuss any guarantee directly with the artist, as this too falls outside our guarantee.
