Artist Comment

Add two of `Cephalopod` together to make longer and larger tables. This is the bronze `Cephalopod` with a level glass top coffee table. It can be purchased with or without a 36" round glass table top as a coffee table, or without glass as a sculpture. Place two together for a long table. The glass table top sets safely and firmly on top of three tentacles! "I have always been fascinated with Cephalopods. This octopus table is astoundingly real and makes any decor stand out in a jaw dropping way. Detailed hot cast bronze, each a `one of a kind` whimsical in every way!" Created-signed and numbered by the artist in a very limited edition of only 20 to be cast. There are hundreds of cephalopod species around the world. This is my interpretation of the largest species known: Pacific Giant Octopus (Enteroctopus dofleini). Recordings show it reaches 600 lbs. At least 100 of the cephalopod species have three hearts. They are all amazing and as fluid as the oceans in which they live. They are intelligent with a highly developed brain and acute vision, and are masters of camouflage.

  • The ArtParkS Guarentee

All the sculptures on the website are described by the Artists themselves stating the materiel they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors they have a guarentee of 10 years subject to the effects of weathering which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them  regular cleaning and maintenance. For instance Bronze and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze will aquire a green patina, usually rather sought after and all could attract moss  lichen and a greeny pollen especially under trees which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing up liquid.
Iron and steel will oxidise(rust ) and this falls outside our guarentee.
Organic materiel like wood, bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited and you should discuss any guarentee direct with the Artist as this too falls outside our Guarentee.
