“Three different sculpture are made around the theme Mother Earth. This one expresses the pain during process of developing the global unity and interdependence. The others are expressing the beauty of the unified world and the third expresses the vulnerability of the earth.
Important Note.
Hans Koenen is one of a veryselect band of artists who tackles the difficult challenge of combining both Bronze and Stone in the same sculpture.

The sculpture is unique however the concept is being used in a series of 12 sculptures maximum. In commission certain parts of the sculpture can be personalised.

    All the sculptures on the website are described by the artists themselves, stating the material they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors, they have a guarantee of 10 years, subject to the effects of weathering, which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them regular cleaning and maintenance.

    For instance, bronze, and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze, will acquire a green patina, usually rather sought after. All can attract moss, lichen, and a greenish pollen, especially under trees, which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing-up liquid.

    Iron and steel will oxidise (rust), and this falls outside our guarantee.

    Organic material like wood and bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited. You should discuss any guarantee directly with the artist, as this too falls outside our guarantee.
