Yifeng Cheng was born in Hunan, China in 1979, graduated from the Arts Department of the Russian State Normal University with a bachelor and master’s degree. Currently Yifeng is a lecturer of sculpture in the School of Fine Arts and Design of Guangzhou University, China. Also he is a member of Guangdong Artists Association and China Sculpture Institute. From 2013 and onward, Yifeng’s artworks have been in many popular and prestigious exhibitions in China, including his sole and joint exhibitions.

Yifeng is one of the few artists in China who has been focusing on the creation of abstract sculptures.

‘I’m not trying to invent some kind of sculpture, I’m just being a discoverer and translator of nature as I see fit’
