Steve Boss whose whole Artistic inspiration is taken from the Wildlife he sees around him and from which he so expertly and sensitively creates his lovely realistically coloured work. Each new piece involves hours of patient observation and study to get that characteristic pose exactly right. Many of the colours are difficult to achieve as other artists have found who have tried.

Steve Boss is a self taught sculptor with over 30 years experience in the Fine Art and Giftware trades.
Steve began his career as an apprentice Jeweller in the late 1980`s and after serving his apprenticeship, he spent several years working primarily with pewter and silver, creating intricate miniature designs.
The focus of Steve`s work then turned to sculptures inspired by the natural world and he spent 17 years as an in-house sculptor with a leading wildlife sculpture company before branching out as a freelance sculptor and he continued to concentrate on wildlife, drawing inspiration from his early years, growing up in the Leicestershire countryside.
