Mediums Used

Reka is a person who was interested first of all in her artistic career in theater. This was the reason why she left the Graphic Department from Cluj-Klausemburg in 1992 and left to Bucharest to follow university here. In that year it occurred that it is a great opportunity to apply also to the Sculpture Department where before the Revolution were accepted mainly males.
Since 1997 Reka is teaching as full time univ assist at this Department, since 2007 having her one masterclass. In 2011 during an application in Bergen University, Norway to a job as Time Based Arts professor, on base of works done with student she was assess by committee as eligible, but not succeed to job interview. Due to this success and having a lot of training and interest in theater she decided to start in 2015 an alternative workshop at the National University of Arts called Time Based Arts@ Time Factor (y) where with other 4 enthusiastic friends is working since and trying to introduce in the University curricula a new discipline called Time Based Arts. (This TBA started actually in UK with sculptor David Hall)
Since 2016 is the CEO of the Combinart/1+1=10 artist association who try to re-brand a former art-supplies factory in Bucharest which is almost 2 acres large.
She works in traditional sculptural techniques bronze, stone carving, as well as new media, and film.
The sculpture generally puts in evidence the marvel which constrains in the fact that the spirit is incorporating in something whiich is totally material, converting this exteriority in such manner thhat it is becoming present to himself in itself. The sculpture must show the divine like it appears in his infinite calm.
