Parmjit Singh BHANDOL is a self-trained British Contemporary Artist based in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. Born on a British Naval Base in Singapore in 1968, he moved to England in 1972.
His works are mostly of steel cut from sheets and rebar, always cutting freehand with his plasma torch or a circular cutting disc. He then shapes each piece by hammer on a blacksmith`s anvil before welding them together free- standing or he makes a plaster mould into or onto which he places the metal pieces to be welded together to form the body of the sculpture.
