Szatmári Juhos László completed his formal training as a sculptor at Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest in 1975.

He works mostly with bronze at his atelier/foundery. He was the founder and the organizer of Forma Symposium, an international sculptor workshop held in Szekszárd, Hungary anually during 11 years in the 90s.
