Keen to spread the Message that some waste can be useful and be made Beautiful by using Recycled Found Objects Reclaimed and used Intelligently and Artistically to create an Objct of Beauty Carrying a message of Salvage to a wide Audience
Why I use recycled and reclaimed materials;
I believe that we all have a responsibility to take an active part in reducing our impact on the environment. Whether it be by reducing our energy consumption or reducing the amount of waste we produce. We can all play our part. For this reason, a few years ago I made the conscious decision to work, as far as possible, using recycled or reclaimed materials. Materials that are generally discarded or burned.
Why buy new materials when there are perfectly good ones waiting to be reused elsewhere?
I love the challenge of finding materials from wherever I can and turning them into something as near as possible to the real thing.

Chris Pilmore Left school at 16 to pursue the "family career" in the coal mines of The East Midlands. After spending nearly 20 years underground I "escaped" to rural Somerset to pursue my lifelong love for creativity.
I take my influences from the natural world, animals, plants and natural forms.
