Alan Biggs trained at Reading University and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and having taken early retirement from teaching plunged into sculpture and portraiture and was selected for the RA Summer Exhibition. His time is almost entirely taken up by commissions, so we are lucky to have his work to show his incredible talent for the human form in repose and motion.

Alan Biggs Originally trained as a painter at Reading University and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
Took early retirement after many years in teaching to pursue an interest in sculpture and portraiture.
Exhibited widely in the south of England - including once at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. More recently has had successful exhibitions at St. Albans in Hertfordshire, Rosemoor Gardens in Devon and Pittenweem Art Festival in Fife, Scotland.
3 public sculptures in Okehampton Devon, including mother and child group at new Okehampton Hospital unveiled by Prince Charles.
