“A rather elegant and delicate artwork inspired by the female form. The artist worked from both human and botanical references.

Artist Comment

I endevoured to create symmetry whilst stretching her curving plains in every direction - travelling from the tip of the graceful crescent down to her feet, hinting toward the female form and flora. Then divided each plain with sharp apexes into light and dark. Producing a sculpture of vitality and energy. I currently work in plaster so to paint with light, as a white surface is a pure canvas for me to radiate and trap light to pronounce the form and create pattern. The work shown here is a hand carved plaster model from which a wax will be produced on which I intend to sharpen the foot area further. My desired material for `She` is solid 24ct gold (I have obtained professional quotes for solid gold casts - please enquire), but am selling the sculpture initially in more affordable bronze. The work will be mounted on a quality piece of Belgian black marble.

  • The ArtParkS Guarentee

All the sculptures on the website are described by the Artists themselves stating the materiel they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors they have a guarentee of 10 years subject to the effects of weathering which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them  regular cleaning and maintenance. For instance Bronze and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze will aquire a green patina, usually rather sought after and all could attract moss  lichen and a greeny pollen especially under trees which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing up liquid.
Iron and steel will oxidise(rust ) and this falls outside our guarentee.
Organic materiel like wood, bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited and you should discuss any guarentee direct with the Artist as this too falls outside our Guarentee.
