About the Artwork

Sebastian Novaky’s Sabertooth Tiger Stainless Steel Sculpture, Shows once again his indcredible sensitivity to strength and Beauty. He Adds….
“I have always been deeply fascinated by the saber – tooth tiger, an extinct yet ever – captivating creature. Its powerful build, menacing fangs, and the air of primal strength it exuded have long held a special place in my heart. When I set out to create the “Sabertooth Tiger” stainless – steel sculpture, my aim was to convey this profound emotion to the viewers, bridging the gap between the ancient world of nature and the modern realm of art.
The sculpture is a labor of love, with every detail meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of awe and reverence. The eyes of the saber – tooth tiger are particularly striking. They are designed to seem as if they are gazing into the distance, carrying a hint of the wild and the untamed. The body language, with its slightly crouched stance and the tension in the muscles, suggests a moment of readiness, as if the tiger is about to pounce at any second. The use of stainless steel, with its reflective surface, not only adds a modern touch but also serves as a mirror, reflecting the emotions of the viewers back to them.
The creative process was an intense journey of emotional expression and deepening. I spent countless hours studying the fossils and the scientific reconstructions of the saber – tooth tiger, trying to understand its anatomy and behavior. I then translated these studies into the sculpture, constantly adjusting and refining the details to ensure that the emotion I felt was accurately conveyed. Every curve and angle of the stainless – steel structure was carefully considered to capture the essence of the tiger’s power and grace.

Artist Comment

Striving for a sense of harmony, even in the most uncertain of circumstances, inspires me to make sculpture. I aim to stimulate emotions, feelings and the imagination. I want to create an atmosphere conducive to achieving a sense of well-being, happiness and joy. My work is figurative but it is meant to be metaphorical, not simply representational. In attempting to achieve a spiritual balance in my life and work, I look for alternatives to the self-absorption, materialism and cynicism that often seem prevalent in society. I try to focus on the metaphysical rather than the evidence of the physical world.

  • The ArtParkS Guarantee

All the sculptures on the website are described by the artists themselves, stating the material they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors, they have a guarantee of 10 years, subject to the effects of weathering, which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them regular cleaning and maintenance.

For instance, bronze, and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze, will acquire a green patina, usually rather sought after. All can attract moss, lichen, and a greenish pollen, especially under trees, which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing-up liquid.

Iron and steel will oxidise (rust), and this falls outside our guarantee.

Organic material like wood and bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited. You should discuss any guarantee directly with the artist, as this too falls outside our guarantee.

  • How Does ArtParkS Ensure Your Protection?

From the moment you place an order and pay ArtParkS, you are protected because half of the payment is immediately used to pay the artist’s deposit, while the other half is retained until the sculpture is delivered safely.

Insurance in transit should be arranged with the artist prior to ordering.

  • Why Choose ArtParkS for Your Purchase?

Your sculpture can be delivered anywhere in the world, provided a delivery vehicle can gain access. For special arrangements, contact Peter at peter@artparks.co.uk or +44(0)1481 235571.
