“King Cobra” Sculpture by Sebastian Novaky is a testament to the seamless fusion of nature’s inspiration and contemporary artistry. Crafted from high-quality stainless steel, the sculpture features a meticulously designed hollowed-out structure. The intricate latticework not only showcases the snake’s sleek and powerful body but also adds a sense of lightness and fluidity, as if the cobra is in mid-slit. The mirror-like finish of the stainless steel reflects the surrounding environment, creating a dynamic interplay between the artwork and its context, and imbuing the sculpture with a sense of ever-changing vitality.
In the creative process, I delved deep into the anatomy and behavior of the king cobra. I studied its every movement, from the graceful undulation of its body to the menacing spread of its hood. Sketching countless drafts, I aimed to distill the cobra’s essence into a form that would resonate with viewers on both a visual and emotional level. Collaborating with masterful metal artisans, we employed cutting – edge metal – working techniques to bring my vision to life.

All the sculptures on the website are described by the artists themselves, stating the material they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors, they have a guarantee of 10 years, subject to the effects of weathering, which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them regular cleaning and maintenance.
For instance, bronze, and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze, will acquire a green patina, usually rather sought after. All can attract moss, lichen, and a greenish pollen, especially under trees, which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing-up liquid.
Iron and steel will oxidise (rust), and this falls outside our guarantee.
Organic material like wood and bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited. You should discuss any guarantee directly with the artist, as this too falls outside our guarantee.
