About the Artwork

“Coup de Vent” by Anne Curry is a dynamic outdoor sculpture that captures the essence of wind-swept movement through the delicate form of reed leaves in winter. Cast in bronze resin, the piece portrays the papery, fragile leaves of a reed being buffeted by a strong gust of wind. The sculpture’s fluid lines and intricate textures create a sense of motion and evoke the feeling of nature’s relentless forces acting on something seemingly delicate yet resilient. The contrast between the lightness of the subject and the durability of the bronze resin material emphasizes the strength within fragility. “Coup de Vent” is a celebration of nature’s powerful forces and the beauty found in its ever-changing rhythms.

  • The ArtParkS Guarantee

All the sculptures on the website are described by the artists themselves, stating the material they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors, they have a guarantee of 10 years, subject to the effects of weathering, which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them regular cleaning and maintenance.

For instance, bronze, and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze, will acquire a green patina, usually rather sought after. All can attract moss, lichen, and a greenish pollen, especially under trees, which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing-up liquid.

Iron and steel will oxidise (rust), and this falls outside our guarantee.

Organic material like wood and bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited. You should discuss any guarantee directly with the artist, as this too falls outside our guarantee.

  • How Does ArtParkS Ensure Your Protection?

From the moment you place an order and pay ArtParkS, you are protected because half of the payment is immediately used to pay the artist’s deposit, while the other half is retained until the sculpture is delivered safely.
