About the Artwork

Little Bronze Standing Ballet Dancer Statuette by Liubka Kirilova, the Outstanding Figurative Bulgarian Sculptress of her age. It has a certain Memory of Degas’s Little Ballerina.

Artist's Comment

This sculpture portrays a ballerina in a poised stance, exuding elegance and grace. Crafted from bronze, the art piece captures the lithe and elongated form of a dancer, with precise attention to anatomical detail. The figure's head is slightly tilted, suggesting contemplation. The pleated tutu gracefully flares outward, showcasing dynamic movement frozen in time. A patina finish enriches the piece, offering subtle contrasts between the soft shine of the tutu and the muted tones of the limbs. Standing on a sleek black base, the sculpture evokes a sense of balance and harmony. It invites viewers to appreciate the delicate interplay of strength and fluidity inherent in ballet. Unique in its minimalist yet expressive design, the artwork pays homage to the discipline and artistry of dance, capturing an ephemeral moment in a permanent medium

  • The ArtParkS Guarantee

All the sculptures on the website are described by the artists themselves, stating the material they are made from and their dimensions. If they are stated to be suitable for outdoors, they have a guarantee of 10 years, subject to the effects of weathering, which will alter their colour and finish over the years unless you give them regular cleaning and maintenance.

For instance, bronze, and to a lesser extent bronze resin/cold cast bronze, will acquire a green patina, usually rather sought after. All can attract moss, lichen, and a greenish pollen, especially under trees, which should be removed regularly with warm water and washing-up liquid.

Iron and steel will oxidise (rust), and this falls outside our guarantee.

Organic material like wood and bark willow is variable and depends to a great extent on where it is sited. You should discuss any guarantee directly with the artist, as this too falls outside our guarantee.

  • How Does ArtParkS Ensure Your Protection?

From the moment you place an order and pay ArtParkS, you are protected because half of the payment is immediately used to pay the artist’s deposit, while the other half is retained until the sculpture is delivered safely.

Insurance in transit should be arranged with the artist prior to ordering.
