A remarkably international woman, having been born in France, worked in America, France and England she now divides her time between Paris and Tuscany.

Zoé now works almost exclusively in Carrara Marble with a refreshing zest, panache and humanity which comes out in all her work.

Biography

1952: Born the 12th January in L`Isle sur Sorgue, Vaucluse, France.
1965 - 1969: High School of Music and Art, and The New Lincoln School, New York City.
1969 - 1972: Studies Painting, Print-making and Sculpture at the Beaux Arts of Grenoble,
France.
Diploma-Attestation d`Etudes Plastiques.
1972 - 1973: Studies Literature, Psychology and Painting at Marlboro College, Vermont, U.S.A.
1974 - 1975: Lives and paints in her studio in London, England.
1976: Works with lpoustéguy in his studio near Paris.
1978: Beaux Arts de Paris
Diplôme Superieur d`Arts Plastiques, Sculpture section, with honors.
1978: Exhibition of Sculptures, Maison de la Culture, Choisy-le-Roi.
1979: Learns bronze working techniques at the Tesconi Art Foundry, Pietrasanta, Italy.
1980: Returns to Pietrasanta to continue bronzes. Begins direct carving in marble at the
Giannoni Studio.
1981-84: Direct carving in marble at the Henraux studio, Querceta, Italy.
1982: Works for lpoustéguy doing the patina on 350 square meters (approx. 1050 sq. ft.)
of bronze sculpture now situated in la Place Louis Pradel, Lyon, France.
1983: Designs winning project for the construction of a central heating plant for Paris, in
collaboration with architect J. R. Mazaud and painter J. P. Turmel.
1984: Acquisition of a sculpture by the Ministry of Culture, for the
Fonds National d`Art Contemporain, France.
1984 - 2002: Since 1984 works bronze at the Fonderia Artistica Mariani, Italy.
1985: Wins Prix Spècial du Jury
Salon Marcel Pouvreau. Dammarie-les-Lys, France.
1985: Artist in Residence. Caserta, Italy.
Three month sojourn. Organized by L`Institut de France - Naples,
Le Ministère de la Culture, and Italian collectors.
