Yifeng Cheng was born in Hunan, China in 1979, graduated from the Arts Department of the Russian State Normal University with a bachelor and master’s degree. Currently Yifeng is a lecturer of sculpture in the School of Fine Arts and Design of Guangzhou University, China. From 2013 and onward, Yifeng’s artworks have been in many popular and prestigious exhibitions in China, including his sole and joint exhibitions. Yifeng is one of the few artists in China who has been focusing on the creation of abstract sculptures.

Also Yifeng is a member of Guangdong Artists Association, Director of Guangzhou Artists Association, member of China Sculpture Institute, Director of Sculpture Art Committee of Guangzhou Artists Association, Vice President and General Secretary of Guangzhou Sculpture Institute, Deputy Secretary of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Artists Alliance in Greater Bay Area and Vice President of Guangzhou Sculpture Society.
