Biography

Jill Tweed is a winner of eleven major public commissions in the last few years, Jill`s skill is equally evident in the smaller bronzes. Known for her sensuous and lively surfaces as much as their expressive movement, their simplicity of form, reminiscent in some respects of Henry Moore, is infused with the empathy she feels for the animals and people she portrays. Her talent for isolating and expressing movement and balance is particularly apparent in her various studies of galloping horses.
