Ipek Candas is a self-taught sculptor, she expresses her art in various mediums and techniques. Particular skill in portraits. Her sculptures consist of original works of her own design made in her home studio.

Inspired by her love for nature, she tries to capture the emotion in her mainly classical portrait sculptures

Biography

Ipek Candas was Born in Bursa and educated in Istanbul in business administration, she started making terracotta sculpture in the fine arts club of her university. Although she continues her career in finance and textile field, she never stopped sculpting in terracotta, glass and silver.
