Gaetano Cherubini is a sculptor by vocation. At first self-taught and later graduated from St. James School of Ornamental Arts. Since graduating in 1975 his artistic journey in solitude, deepening techniques, knowledge and experience and following his inspirations without being influenced by commercial motives. Here he is at 60 relaxing outside.

Fantastically imaginative sculptor by Antonio Pumilia:

Gaetano Cherubini`s work is the classic case of the "pearl in the mud". Mud being the mixture of market failure to discover is real talent combined with Gaetano`s inability to promote himself mixed with sheer laziness.

I`m not exaggerating. I know enough about the Rome art scene and I`m sure there are artist out there who are overrated. Gaetano is rather shy and doesn`t known to promote himself.

This is why is isn`t famous yet although it is only a matter of time. He sculpts, melts and develops classical and realistic subjects using the same refined technique with unlimited imagination. You can decide for yourself if what I`m saying is true or not by going directly to his website.
