I am interested in exploring our relationship with nature. Much of my work expresses an emotional response to the natural world, as well as ecological and sustainability concerns around it. I use a wide range of materials depending on the concept of the work and the context of the place. Whilst bronze is the material I use most, I have also used aluminium, clay, wood and glass. I have been casting bronze since 2005, with many artworks using reclaimed industrial mechanical parts from the oil industry.
My biggest artistic inspirations include Giuseppe Penone and Barbara Hepworth.
