Caroline Channing is a glass artist working in the North West of England. She creates stained glass windows and panels and fused glass objects. Caroline combines glass that she has created with wood and metal objects to create sculptures.

Biography

Caroline Channing originally trained as a scientist and pursued a career in that field until a necessary career break facilitated a change in direction. Caroline was able to develop her artistic side which had always been an interest.
After several years of training in the skills of stained glass Caroline was able to set up a workspace in 2009 and started exploring the world of fused glass. Since then she worked on many glass projects including large stained glass windows, fused glass items and sculpture that incorporate glass, wood and recycled objects.

Public Works

A series of 16 stained glass windows for a school chapel at Loreto High School, Chorlton, Manchester.
